Production + Arrangement
Some projects arrive fully formed. Others need a little more work before the red light comes on. Production and arrangement sessions are built around helping a song or project reach its strongest version. That can mean refining structure, shaping dynamics, developing instrumentation, building textures or simply figuring out what the track is still missing. Nick works as part of the creative team, bringing both a producerโs perspective and an engineerโs ear to the process without losing sight of the artistโs original vision. ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ: artists developing songs, preparing for recording or looking for outside creative direction.

Studio Recording
A comfortable room, the right tools and the space to focus on the performance. Backpost offers professional studio recording for solo artists, bands and creative projects across all genres. Sessions are built around the needs of the project, whether that means capturing a full band, building a song piece by piece or experimenting until the right sound takes shape. The studio includes a dedicated control room, isolation spaces and the equipment needed to move from idea to finished recording without disrupting the creative flow. ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ: singles, EPs, albums, demos and full-band sessions.

Mixing
Mixing is where the individual pieces become one finished record. Backpost takes recorded tracks and shapes them into a balanced, cohesive mix with clarity, depth, movement and character. The goal isnโt to impose one signature sound on every project. Itโs to bring out what makes the song work and make sure every element has a purpose. Mixing can be completed for projects recorded at Backpost or remotely for sessions recorded elsewhere. ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ: artists with completed recordings that are ready to be shaped into a finished mix.

Mastering
The final step before release. Mastering brings consistency, polish and translation to a finished mix so it performs properly across streaming platforms, headphones, speakers and other playback systems. Clean, intentional audio can completely change the way a visual project feels. Scoring & Composition
Original music built around the story. Backpost offers scoring and composition for film, video, commercial projects and other creative work. The process is collaborative and shaped around the tone, pacing and emotional needs of the project rather than forcing the visuals to fit an existing track. Sometimes you donโt need the full production package. You just need one part recorded properly. Backpost offers focused tracking sessions for vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keys and other instruments. These sessions can support projects being produced elsewhere or help replace and improve individual elements within an existing recording. Live Sound & Location Recording
Not everything worth recording happens inside the studio. Backpost offers live sound support and mobile recording for performances, events and projects that need to be captured on location. Services can include live audio operation, multitrack recording or both depending on the needs of the event. Not every project starts with a clear plan. Creative consultations are designed for artists and creators who know what they want to make but arenโt sure what the next step should be. Sessions can cover production direction, recording strategy, arrangement, technical planning or simply helping work through a creative block. Thereโs no expectation that you arrive with everything figured out. ๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ: early-stage projects, artists planning a release or anyone looking for experienced creative input before committing to a larger session.
